Today we worked on making our own yard sticks.  Students glued 3 rulers together to make one whole yard stick.

Working hard on our math stations

Take a peak at some of our math stations.  We are working hard on telling time, money, addition and subtraction today all during math stations.  During our lesson today we practiced measuring using a ruler.

Seeing through a Poet's Eyes

Students worked today to look at everyday objects in our classroom and see it with a poet's eyes.  They looked at it closely and write describing words about their item.

Cursive letter D

Today we learned how to make a d in cursive.  The students love learning cursive.  After our lesson today we can now write "dad" and "add" in cursive.
